Lady Nicola Mendelsohn CBE is Vice President of Facebook for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The Daily Telegraph named her ‘most powerful woman in the tech industry’. Before Facebook, she worked for 20 years in advertising and in 2011 became the first female president of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising. In 2016 Mendelsohn was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma. She founded the Follicular Lymphoma Foundation in November 2019, with the sole purpose of finding a cure for this incurable blood cancer.
